Ack!

About an hour and a half ago, hubby called. He has a start date, a must be there date, and a date I'll go insane. :)

Here's the deal. Hubby has officially taken the job that will send us to Alabama. His start date is Nov 13. We (the family) has to be installed in Alabama on Dec 1. Tomorrow the relocation company will be calling him.

Countdown has started. I'll know soon exactly how many days I have to complete the packing.

Oldest daughter had done a clean sweep on her room BEFORE we got the call, so she's in good shape.
Son is working on his now, but not the clean sweep thing.
Youngest daughter is doing homework, so will have lots to do another day.

I got the trailer registered today. Mostly. I still have to take it in for an inspection. Shoulda told me that earlier. sheesh. However, I have to go tomorrow and get the hitch I bought installed. Hubby was going to do it, but holes need to be drilled in the frame and he doesn't want that liability. :) smart boy.

Hubby will have to put in the electrical package so I can take the trailer to the DMV next Tuesday.

But hey, I had the best experience at the DMV ever. I walked in early. About 8:05am and was out by 8:20am. Cool, huh? Everyone was even smiling. It was great.

Other than that, I'm broke, going to be broker, and payday isn't until the first. LOL

sigh.

As I said, I'll keep you updated. At least half the packing is done though. That's nice. The move is going to confuse the holidays though. But hey! I won't have to worry about family dropping by my house. LOL
